Every family knows that holidays with kids can be as challenging as they are fun. When you need a little respite or the kids have some serious energy to expend, get to one of Melbourne’s amazing fun parks and let them loose on the trampolines, rides and water slides. See as much of Melbourne as you can with a Private Customised Tour. Visit Werribee Mansion for high tea, take the kids to the Werribee Zoo, hit the surf beaches of the Bellarine or check out one or all of our fun parks while you’re in town!
Bounce and Latitude
The sanity savers of parents all over Melbourne, these trampoline parks are heaven for kids with lots of excess energy. Every Bounce and Latitude site has an area for small children where they can play and enjoy some trampoline action without being trampled by older, bigger kids.
For the older children and adults there are rock climbing walls, high ropes courses, balancing beam games and dozens of trampolines offering everyone heaps of options. There are onsite cafes so parents can chill out a little while their kids run wild. During school holidays, special extended sessions are run during the evenings to keep the kids occupied for even longer.
Aeroworld
Aeroworld Melbourne is a trampoline and inflatable fun park that is fun for the whole family. Kids under 110cm must jump in the Junior Flyers’ Zone, a dedicated safer space for smaller people. Sessions start on the hour so make sure you book ahead of time. Your kids can play soccer between the inflatable goals, zoom down the inflatable slides or dive into the enormous foam pit with their friends. Fun is guaranteed.
iFly Melbourne: Indoor Skydiving
When the little ones want to start skydiving but you can’t even contemplate the idea of letting them jump from a great height out of a small plane, iFly is the perfect compromise and it’s available for anyone from ages 3 to 100. Fully trained and qualified instructors give a safety briefing and provide flight gear, including a helmet, before the experience. In the tunnel, the wind will push them up and they’ll feel like they really are flying. The instructor will teach them skills and tricks to use during their one hour session. Be warned – they’ll want to fly again and again.
Urbnsurf
If you want to learn to surf with professional instructors on guaranteed good waves, Urbnsurf, close to Melbourne Airport, is the place to go. With lifeguards on duty and lessons available all day long you’ll have a great day out here, whether you swim in the crystal clear water, learn to surf, or watch from the day beds or hot tubs.
The cafe, Three Blue Ducks, offers delicious, local, sustainable and ethical food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The site has a kitchen garden which grows herbs and Australian native ingredients for the fabulous dishes they serve. The drinks menu comprises wine, beer and spirits from across Victoria too.
Gumbuya World
About an hour from the centre of Melbourne is one of Victoria’s favourite fun parks – Gumbuya World. Recently upgraded, this park has been frequented by generations of families looking for an exciting day out. With a wave pool, water slides, and a lazy river, families can rent a cabana and bliss out for the whole day.
Gumbuya World also has a wildlife park with VIP wildlife experiences where kids can learn all about different animals as they meet with meerkats, hold snakes, pat dingoes and encounter emus. There are roller coasters, rides and a playground for the very young children too.
Adventure Park
If you are in the Geelong area or want to extend our Bellarine Peninsula Tour, Victoria’s biggest water park, Adventure Park, has dozens of waterslides, rides and fun activities for the whole family.
