Visit Tastes of the Region & the Great Ocean Road Brewhouse
If you are looking for an all-inclusive tasting room, you need to stop in at Apollo Bay and visit Tastes of the Region. This dog-friendly tasting room has so many offerings to keep you occupied for the entire day! As their name suggests, Tastes of the Region have a focus on supporting the local community. This fun and cosy venue source many of their wines, produce and beer from the Otways. Prickly Moses is the star of the show and you can purchase a tasting paddle and try five of their mouth-watering brews. You can also do a tasting of four spectacular local wines. The Great Ocean Road Brewhouse is located in front of the tasting room, offering a delicious menu using high quality, seasonal produce sourced from the local community.
Raspberry picking and Cider drinking
Located in Murroon, this picturesque venue is perfect for couple getaways. Pennyroyal Raspberry Farm & Cidery is a bed and breakfast must-do experience. Set in the mountains, this family owned berry farm has a cute café on site, serving light meals and snacks. Here, you can taste, and purchase cider, gin, berry cocktails, jams and other sweet preserves made from the berries on the farm. With no chemicals used in the growing of the produce, and dependant on the season, patrons are given the opportunity to pick berries.
Be nourished in the Otways
Otway NouriShed is a cute little café in Ferguson which is sure to take you back in time. This quaint coffee shop is run from an old potato shed, decorated with retro and rustic furnishings and allows their visitors to dive into the history of the Otways. This quirky venue is a great place to have a meal, sit and unwind with a coffee and chat with friends. There is a large deck overlooking the countryside and a bar for some cheeky drinks. 100% make this a stop when travelling the Great Ocean Road.
